Hands-on Table Olive Event by Edremit Vocational School Students on World Rural Women's Day (October 15)

Students from Balıkesir University Edremit Vocational School's Olive Cultivation and Olive Processing Technology Program experienced table olive production as part of the annual International Day of Rural Women (October 15), organized by BAÇEM.
Highlighting the importance of women's labor and producer awareness in the agricultural sector, the event provided students with hands-on learning in olive selection, crushing/slashing techniques, and brine preparation processes. As future olive technicians, the students reinforced their professional skills by observing the olive's journey from grove to table on site.
